This necklace presents a mythical folklore based theme by featuring a Gargoyle for a pendant. What do Gargoyles symbolize? They are considered mythical creatures that ward off evil. At a practical level, they are highly ornate water spouts that drain the water from rooftops away from the walls of many Gothic buildings to help prevent water damage. Some believe in wearing jewelry with symbolism and personal messages.
The brass Gargoyle pendant has a green patina and is combined with a recycled clock pendulum and two watch gears which have the same color patina. Round and cubed glass beads are used to create the necklace. Gold colored glass beads and brass beads are added as accents. The necklace is adjustable even if it is long.
It is a conversation piece and has a story to tell. Party wear? Office wear? Yes to both.
